To see what needs action

One page with what is urgent: forgotten, overdue, unpaid, missing.

What work this is about

A manager does not need to know everything, only what needs their decision today. Here it is gathered on one page from the same records the work is done in — nothing has to be filled in separately.

Example

In the morning you open the dashboard
What needs action?
Life OS
  • Forgotten deals
Two deals with no movement for more than ten days
  • Overdue payments
A client promised to pay on Friday — no payment
  • Missing documents
    One delivery has no sign-off

Three situations

“What is urgent?” The dashboard: forgotten deals, overdue payments, invoices to pay, missing documents.

“Who has to do what?” Assignments are recorded with the person and the deadline and are visible both on the shared page and on the person's page.

“How much will come in and go out?” The money page: income and spending by month against the plan, money to receive and to pay.

Which parts are involved

Everything that came in during the day on Telegram and by email is gathered on one page.
All work sits in one list by topic, with a deadline and priority.
Each day has its own page with links to everything that appeared that day.
One page shows what matters: tasks for today, the calendar, money, the state of your website and your services.
Calendarsin progress
Events from Google Calendar and Apple Calendar show in the day summary next to tasks and emails.
Each deal has its own page: client, stage, who runs it; everything that happened with it gathers there by itself.
A list of what needs action: forgotten deals, overdue payments, unpaid invoices, missing documents.
How much came in and went out, how much you are owed and how much you owe, the goal for the year and how you are moving towards it.
An assignment is recorded with the person who does it and the deal it belongs to, and shows on the “Today” page.
A page in the browser and on the phone where a team member sees their deals, assignments and documents.

One day

You open the dashboard: it shows what needs action and the questions without an answer. You go down the list, answer the questions and set two assignments. The rules — how many days count a deal as forgotten, which documents are required — are set once and changed with one line.
